Hi, I'm Vicki!
I am a surface pattern designer, quilter, and chronic crafter, based in Marlborough, New Zealand.
I am also the imagination and artist behind Fantail Cottage Dreams.
I love to be creative and have been crafting from a very early age, as well as doodling my ideas for a dream cottage in the woods.
I enjoy designing patterns that are bright and happy, with the aim of seeing them come to life on fabric, and more. My dream is for those designs to end up on snuggly textiles, heartfelt stationery, and cheery homewares, to bring something cosy with a bit of whimsy, into peoples' lives.
When I am not sketching and doodling ideas for new designs, quilting, reading, browsing new craft tutorials, or crocheting, I'm a (mostly) domesticated wifey to my husband Cas, and dog-mother to our small canine "overlords".
